State Representative Brad Halbrook has rescheduled his Town Hall/Legislative Update for families in the Arcola area. The event will now be held on Tuesday, September 14.
Rep. Halbrook (R-Shelbyville) will provide an update on the state budget, energy legislation to be debated in Springfield this week, and other critical issues facing the General Assembly. The event will also be an opportunity for Arcola-area residents to discuss their concerns and suggestions with Representative Halbrook.
“This week, the General Assembly will be back in Springfield for the third special session since we adjourned in May. The September 14th Town hall is a great opportunity for me to sit down and talk face to face with local families about what has been happening in Springfield and how it impacts our communities,” Rep. Halbrook said. “I also want to make sure everyone knows how my office can help with problems with unemployment benefits, FOID card renewals, and other state issues. I hope to see everyone there!”
