Halbrook Hosts Pastor Derrick Ritchie at Capitol to Deliver House Invocation

SPRINGFIELD, IL…State Representative Brad Halbrook (R-Shelbyville) invited Pastor Derrick Ritchie of Tower Hill to provide the House invocation before Session started on April 29th. Members can invite clergy from their district to deliver an opening prayer before they start their work in the legislature.

Pastor Ritchie is the Senior Minister at Tower Hill Christian Church and has been since 2000. Before serving as Senior Minister, Pastor Ritchie attended Ozark Christian College in Missouri and Lincoln Christian Seminary in Illinois. Originally from Oklahoma, Pastor Ritchie now lives in Tower Hill with his wife, Karen and their four sons.
