The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that traffic on Henrietta Street between Fayette Avenue and Jefferson Avenue will shift to the newly constructed southbound lanes beginning Wednesday, May 14. This change will restrict access from Henrietta Street to Jefferson Avenue.
The new traffic pattern will allow two lanes open for southbound traffic and one lane for northbound traffic. Advance signing will be posted along Henrietta Street and Jefferson Avenue. Access to Jefferson Avenue from Henrietta Street is expected to resume in mid-June.
