The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that pavement patching on the Banker Street overpass between Fayette Avenue and West Clark Avenue in Effingham begins today, Tuesday, May 27.
One lane of traffic will be open in each direction during the pavement patching. Arrow boards and barricades will be in place to help direct traffic. Benefits from this project include a smoother driving surface. The project is expected to be completed on Friday, May 30.
