July 1st Marked Tax Hikes for Illinoisans

July 1st marked the first of Fiscal Year 2026 and the start of more taxes. Thanks to Democrats and their overspending, a slew of tax hikes is hitting Illinois families hard, including a spike on cell phone services. In Illinois, cell phone services are now being taxed at 8.65%, up from 7%.
