SHELBYVILLE, IL…State Representative Brad Halbrook (R-Shelbyville) hosted Pastor Josh Palma of First Baptist Church of Pana to give the House Prayer before the start of Session on May 20th.
Pastor Palma is originally from Northern Minnesota and attended First Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary in Iowa to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Local Church Ministries and Spanish and then went on to get his M.Div. Pastor Palma has served First Baptist Church in different roles, being the Associate Pastor from 2013-2018 and has been the Senior Pastor since 2022. Pastor Palma and his wife, Lindsay have been married since 2011 and together have three children.
“It was great to have Pastor Palma deliver the House Prayer before Session,” said Rep. Halbrook. “Thank you to Pastor Palma for traveling to Springfield to encourage us to finish out this Spring Session strong and remind us why we are here.”
