Illinois Democrats Passed the Largest Budget in State History

On the final day of the Spring legislative session, Democrats rammed through a $55.2 billion state budget, which is the largest in Illinois history! Since Governor Pritzker took office, spending has increased by 38%. That is why I was a staunch NO on the FY26 Budget because Illinoisans need real and structural reforms.
